Yesterday I could finally feel Spring in the air. I am so finished with Winter - seriously contemplating an alternative - as I get older, I don't feel I need to waste time putting up with anything that gets in the way of my comfort and happiness! Selfish? Perhaps, but time is our most precious commodity and to waste it, a crime. So I am thinking about things - like downsizing and keeping a pied a terre here and something on a beach somewhere...meanwhile dreaming about getting into the garden again. Oh I so know what you mean....however, I am stuck with winter for a loooong time! a little place on a beach would be so awesome! We typically do not get much of a spring in Calgary; we tend to go from winter, to a week of spring to summer. It is just the kind of geographic area we live in. I always laugh that sometimes it seems we never have it all. We have a lot of work here, really great paying jobs and tons of career opportunities, hence Calgary is a very young city....but the weather sucks! And places that seem to have fabulous weather seem to lack work.
i could not handle it! winters here are long enough! lol
